Terms of Service & Usage Guidelines
Effective Date: 1 January 2026 • Governed by English Law
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or utilizing TradeCostUK (https://trade.apgrowth.tech), you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service in full and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website.
2. Nature of Price Benchmarks & Estimates
All cost figures, regional rate calculators, hourly benchmarks, and emergency callout estimates provided on TradeCostUK are intended strictly for general informational and consumer guidance purposes.
While our data is updated continuously based on wholesale indices and contractor surveys, individual property conditions (including aging wiring, accessibility hurdles, asbestos presence, and structural layouts) may influence actual contractor quotations. TradeCostUK does not guarantee that a local contractor will agree to perform work at the estimated median rates.
3. Independent Contractor Disclaimer
TradeCostUK acts solely as an independent pricing index and referral directory. We do not directly employ electricians, heating engineers, or builders. Any agreement or contract entered into following a quote inquiry is strictly between you (the property owner/landlord) and the third-party contractor.
We strongly advise all property owners to independently verify the credentials of any hired contractor—including checking active registration on the NICEIC / NAPIT Competent Person Register and confirming valid Public Liability Insurance.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, programmatic database schemas, layout design, branding, and computational rate algorithms on TradeCostUK are the proprietary intellectual property of TradeCostUK. Automated scraping, data extraction, or commercial re-publication of our city pricing indices without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, TradeCostUK and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or reliance upon any pricing information provided herein.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
